My first New Year’s resolution was to get a job. (Check.)
My second New Year’s resolution is to cook once a month, from scratch, something I’ve never made before. This month was Thai food, so I made chicken and shrimp pad thai completely from scratch (yes, tamarind paste and all).
It didn’t taste like my favorite pad thai from Liang’s Bistro in New Tampa, but it was still damn good.
Next month: I’m making my own steak and ale pie.
